In the past hour:
The Plane of Hate

Costs a very expensive stone to port there; very nasty level 50+ mobs run rampid; a chance for planar gear; the dreary, dark zone called the plane of Hate!

Six groups ported up to Hate, and successfully broke the port-in room, without one death, and proceeded to continue with battle plans.

The very first mob that we killed dropped some Iksar only Shaman gear, so I knew this would be an eventful night, right from the start.

The teamwork was outstanding, and the new aliance was like clockwork, as we took down one mob after another, making it look easy.

After about 20 pulls, the monks were starting to warm up, and SoD had already scored some unique planar loot.

Arthoes won the roll (being the only ranger there) on Thornyvine Vambraces, and a Revulent Whip (5/14). Bobmd also secured himself a pair of shiny, new Rune Etched Vambraces.

As soon as the surrounding mobs were killed, and Sector A was secure, we moved to Sector B (on the west wall camp) to continue our well planned assault.

Soon after our move, Memmree and Bipbop won some uber Cleric armor, (Memmree won a helmet, and Bipbop put on his new gaunts), while Jessandra got almost a whole suit of Bard armor.

Sector B clear! And it was time to consider pulling the Maestro, (one of the mini bosses in Hate). When everyone was buffed and ready to fight, 3 skilled pullers, Daylighte, Quchang, and Saedil worked together to pull him to the camp, where we proceeded to take him down.

It was not an easy fight, and many perished during the battle. Thiaz went LD but still fought like a champ, as she continued to beat him down until he lay motionless on the ground.

The Maestro dropped a Monk only mask, won by Saedil, (6ac, wt 0.1, effect: UV), who had died from the AoE blasts emitted by the Maestro, but was ressurrected in time to roll for the loot.

From there, we moved to the Throne room and pulled some nasty hands, which turned out to be tougher than we could handle. After 3 attempts at the hands, we decided to call it a night.

Much fun was had by all attendees, and I thank you for your display of awesome teamwork. Its seems that our aliance with Mithril Blades will be a profitible one for all involved, and our first organized event together as an aliance went extremely well.

Congratulations to all who walked away with new armor and/or rare gems, and we look forward to hunting in the planes again.

For those of you who are not planes ready yet (level 46+), it's a fun place to hunt, and I encourage you to gain those levels needed to hunt with us in such exotic zones. Keep up the good work!
